Donkers asks Steenbergen about an interview in the 2022 Hockey Canada investigation in which he was asked about what Foote was wearing when, as court heard earlier, he did the splits over E.M.’s face.
Foote is accused of doing the splits over E.M.’s face, with his genitals grazing it, while she was lying on the ground.
In that interview, Steenbergen said Foote had taken his pants and underwear off.
But Steenbergen had testified he couldn’t see what Foote was wearing.
He stood by that today, saying he wasn’t sure what he was wearing and his answer in 2022 was based on suggestion from the questioner.
