Ropes & Gray represented TSG Consumer Partners in its investment in Summer Fridays, a clean, premium skincare and hybrid makeup brand. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TSG Consumer Partners is a leading private equity firm with over $16 billion in assets under management. The two co-founders, Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland, will retain a significant stake and continue to lead Summer Fridays along with the rest of the management team, and Prelude Growth Partners will exit its investment in Summer Fridays as part of the transaction.
The Ropes & Gray team included private equity partners Elizabeth Gallucci and Chris Comeau, employment partners Megan Bisk and Kyle Higley, tax partner Pamela Glazier and life sciences regulatory & compliance partner Kellie Combs.
