London Luton Airport (LLA) is seeing a bustling May half-term, expecting over 500,000 travellers for the period. The peak travel day was Friday, May 23, when nearly 30,000 passengers kicked off the long weekend.
Holidaymakers are flocking to sun-drenched destinations and vibrant cities, drawn by warm weather and cultural allure. Popular beach destinations include Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Sharm El-Sheikh, perfect for soaking up the sun after the UK’s warm May.
For city breaks, travellers are heading to Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Lisbon, Verona, and Warsaw, each offering a blend of pleasant weather and rich cultural experiences.
LLA and a Busy Half-Term
