A Frontier Airlines flight departing Atlanta for Orlando made a precautionary return after reporting an engine problem after takeoff on 21 July 2025.
Frontier Airlines flight F93508, operated by an Airbus A320neo, had conducted a departure from runway 09L Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
The aircraft was performing a scheduled service bound for Orlando International Airport (MCO), Florida.

Shortly after takeoff, pilots reported an abnormal engine oil indication. The flight crew actively discontinued the departure procedure and halted the climb at 10,000 feet.
The operating crew then executed a direct return to the departure airport. The flight landed on runway 09L approximately 20 minutes after its initial departure.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the incident in a brief statement. “Frontier Airlines Flight 3508 returned safely to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport around 8:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, June 21. The crew reported a possible oil warning light issue. The Airbus A320 was headed to Orlando International Airport. The FAA will investigate.”
