The Lufthansa Group, encompassing Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Discover Airlines, has released its winter flight schedules for 2025/26.
The winter program will see Lufthansa expand its Allegris cabin offering across more routes. The carrier will also add more A380 services to the United States.
The focus is on delivering a reliable, punctual, and premium travel experience, particularly during the busy Christmas holiday season.
“Our priority is a stable and punctual winter flight schedule across all Lufthansa Group airlines, ensuring smooth operations at airports,” said Dieter Vranckx, Chief Commercial Officer of Lufthansa Group. “With the expansion of our Allegris offering, we’re elevating the premium travel experience in key markets.”
Lufthansa: Comfort with Allegris
Lufthansa is rolling out its innovative Allegris cabin across all classes—Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.
Starting October 26, 2025, passengers can experience these state-of-the-art interiors on daily flights from Munich to major destinations like New York (JFK and Newark), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, and Tokyo.
Additionally, Bengaluru, India, will see three weekly flights. This marks the largest simultaneous rollout of Allegris destinations since its introduction.
Currently, ten A350-900 aircraft feature the new Allegris cabin, with over half a million passengers already enjoying the upgraded seats.
Satisfaction rates are nearly 100%, reflecting the popularity of this premium offering. Lufthansa plans to extend Allegris to Frankfurt with the Boeing 787-9 and retrofit its Boeing 747-8 fleet this year.
Due to strong demand, Lufthansa will continue flights from Frankfurt to Bydgoszcz, Poland, and from Munich to Oradea, Romania, into the winter season.
Additionally, A380 enthusiasts can look forward to flights from Munich to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi, where the iconic aircraft remains a favorite among passengers and crew.
Austrian Airlines: Expanded Routes
For Austrian Airlines, winter will see further new connections. From Innsbruck, Amsterdam joins Brussels, Warsaw, and Copenhagen as a fourth destination.
Vienna to Bangkok will see up to two daily flights, catering to increased demand. Starting October 26, 2025, Austrian Airlines will shift its Milan flights from Malpensa to Linate Airport.
This follows the acquisition of slots from ITA Airways, now part of the Lufthansa Group. Linate’s proximity to Milan’s city center significantly reduces travel time for passengers.
SWISS: More Options for Winter Travelers
SWISS is expanding its network with additional flights to Krakow, Poland, and continued services to Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and Košice, Slovakia, from Zurich. Washington, D.C., remains a key long-haul destination from Zurich.
From Geneva, SWISS is focusing on connections to the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia, appealing to winter sports enthusiasts planning vacations in Switzerland.
Brussels Airlines: Strengthened African Connections
Group carrier Brussels Airlines is solidifying its position as the Lufthansa Group’s “Africa expert” by boosting services from Brussels to several African destinations.
Additional weekly flights will connect to Lomé (Togo), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Monrovia (Liberia), Accra (Ghana), and Freetown (Sierra Leone), catering to growing demand for travel to the continent.
Eurowings: New Long-Haul and Leisure Routes
Eurowings, Germany’s leading leisure airline, is introducing exciting long-haul routes. Starting November 2025, Berlin will connect to Abu Dhabi with three weekly non-stop flights, marking the city’s third long-haul route alongside Dubai and Jeddah.
Dubai flights from Berlin will increase to 11 weekly departures, up from seven. In Lower Saxony, Eurowings will launch three weekly direct flights from Hanover to Dubai starting November 4.
Additionally, Stuttgart will see twice-weekly flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Eurowings is also expanding its Egypt program, with new flights to Marsa Alam from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.
Discover Airlines: Tropical and Arctic Adventures
Discover Airlines is adding exotic destinations to its winter lineup. For the first time, Frankfurt will have non-stop flights to the Seychelles, offering travelers direct access to this island paradise.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, will be the only direct Caribbean connection from Munich. Additionally, Discover Airlines will fly from Frankfurt to Alta, Norway, opening up new opportunities for winter explorers.
